Bretagne Sports International is an association created in 2007 by 3 Breton organisations : the "DRDJS de Bretagne", the "Conseil régional de Bretagne" and the "Comité Régional Olympique et Sportif".
The aim of Bretagne Sports International is to encourage and develop international exchanges and international cooperation in the fields of sports and youth.
The tasks are:
- Elevate relationships between Brittany and foreign regions.
- Give advise to, and follow up, educational and sports projects
- Inform the public and private sectors, when proposed projects in sports and youth education are received, in order to coordinate and energize the cooperation.
- Facilitate sports and educational initiatives. Furthermore, help the implementation between the region of Brittany and the foreign region interested by this cooperation.
The association opens its doors to all the public and private sectors concerned by the sport, in order to improve the organization of international exchanges and cooperation.

BSI also mobilizes agents of the "direction régionale et départementale de la Jeunesse et des Sports de Bretagne" and of the "service des sports du Conseil Régional de Bretagne", in addition to volunteers from CROS Bretagne.
